Agua Fresca

This Agua Fresca is our preferred option when visiting our apiary on hot days. I first discovered it while living in Mexico and thought it was a fantastic, all-natural KoolAid. They said hibiscus would help me keep a flat stomach but with all that delicious food…. I don’t think so!

Hibiscus helps regulate blood pressure and lemongrass helps with anxiety. An added benefit is that bees LOVE the scent of lemongrass (we rub it on empty hives to attract swarms), so hopefully that means they will feel happier and sting us a bit less. This particular tea is enriched with our acacia honey, which provides further energy without overpowering the herbal flavors. Enjoy!
